While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

I won't go back there after he charged me $15 for the PICS check. I don't do business with people that add on hidden fees like that. And I would imagine that whatever great deals you get there is only because he makes up the money in other ways. I didn't even notice for a day or two until I took the receipt out of my pocket.

I usually stop at Gun Bunker, but nothing in there ever interests me, He usually has either bulk ammo buys, or top dollar ammo, I doubt he has either right now, and if he does the price is so high your nose will bleed.

Re: Gun Shops in York
Third time in Stoneybrook. I've tried to give them a chance, but they keep on failing! This time the owner had no time to answer questions for other customers that were there, and gave an incorrect answer about PA gun registration to a poor guy that had escaped to PA from Baltimore!
I was looking to spend money on one of 2 long guns on my wish list, had earlier shopped the Lancaster stores on my way back home from a morning meeting, and I was curtly told he doesn't like to do rifles and shotguns, they aren't his thing. Fine, understood. Well there's also a certain handgun on my long term wish list. When asked about that one I got a similar response : glock and kimber are his 'thing'. So, if you like to buy plastic and shoot .45 all day, there's your place! For me? I'll go where I can find better customer service. ..
P.S. I should have seen the 'signs' - he still had an unsold Ruger SR 1911 in his case!

As for Stonybrook, I did business with John for years. But after the last AWB scare that persuaded him to charge $45-50 a piece for pmags. I've got no time for price gougers.
