    Default my quest of carrying: have AZ and PA, want UT and FL

    I am on a quest to obtain as many firearms permits/licenses as possible, to expand the states in which I may carry under any circustance. I'm stationed in AZ, and have both an AZ and PA CCW/LTCF. From what I understand, I can also get a UT and FL CFP/CCW relatively easily, but they require training. I will be home on leave from mid December until early January. When and where would be a place that I could go through this process? For the record, I live in Cheltenham (near NE Philadelphia and Willow Grove)
    If there are any others that you can recommend for me to get as well, I'm open to suggestions.
    Thanks guys
    -Joe

    Thank you for your service.

    For FL:

    Acceptable Training

    # Presents evidence of equivalent experience with a firearm through participation in organized shooting competition or military service (persons serving in the United States Armed Forces may submit a copy of their Military ID Card; discharged persons may submit a copy of the DD-214);

    More FL info here

    If you're ever in WA, theirs is fairly easy to get for a non-resident....but you must appear in person. No photo, no training required, but prints are required.

    VA can be done all thru the US mail.

    Thanks for that info! I'm glad to hear about ME, CT, and VA... ill have to get the 3 of them for sure. Are there any others that can be had through the mail as a non-resident? Ill definately get FL, as I guess that would be all through the mail as well for me.
    I would still like others, keep em coming!

    While you're still out there, you can stop in and see a sheriff in Nevada

    New Hampshire is also straightforward, but perhaps the biggest "trophy" (from the possible states) would be Massachusetts. You need to be careful how you word the application and it's pricey ($100/year), but it is possible.

    I believe Nevada requires a training class that can only be taken in Nevada. Good for business if you're a trainer in Las Vegas.

    I remember reading that too...but figured it might not be too far of a drive from AZ.

    For Mass I think it has to be in person now. If you're just interested in coverage, check Handgunlaw.us because some states permits won't give you any extra states that you don't already have.
