.38 is usually plentiful and cheap in the city... one of the few calibers I've never had trouble finding.

+1 on that. My local WalMart doesn't usually have it, but I stopped in in Friday and they had a bunch, so I stocked up. $16 isn't bad compared to anywhere else. Do you have a local Gander Mt? They always have it, but their prices are a joke usually.

I usually do bulk reloading in the winter for the rest of the year.

I'm surprized that you are having a problem finding 38 spl, even during the post O rush all of the stores that I stopped in had plenty of 38 spl.

Nope, my local guy had at least 50 boxes of assorted flavors last week.

Same here, I haven't been able to find much around me. Every now and then I get lucky at Wal Mart but I have been finding it hard to get a hold of.

No, but I dont shoot a ton of it either just in the snubby every now and then..but now that I just brought that Dan Wesson 4" model 15 I may be going through a LOT more....that may be the gun that makes me a reloader lol. Last week i picked up a 250 box of Ultramax(or 200...well either way the bulk box) for $50 which = $12.50 a 50 rounds which is a good find these days...
