Reports: Woman shoots at least 3 in Kraft Food plant

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA - September 9, 2010 (WPVI) -- Police are on the scene of a triple shooting and tense standoff in Northeast Philadelphia.

Reports indicate a woman has shot at least three people in the Kraft Food plant located at 12000 Roosevelt Boulevard.

The woman is believed to still be inside and armed.

SWAT officers have joined police at the scene.

Several employees have been ushered from the scene.

One of the victims is said to be a man with a gunshot wound to the chest. He is being transferred to a local hospital.

The incident began around 9:00 p.m.

The Kraft Food plant was formerly known as the Nabisco Factory.

Landmark identification and background info. For at least 30 years, that facility bore the name "Nabisco". Many people who no longer live in the area probably don't know it's now a Kraft Food plant, or grew up knowing it as "the Nabisco factory".

Sources say Hiller has been imagining that her coworkers were doing strange things to her including spraying deer urine on her clothing and other instances the company could not confirm.

Sources say Hiller believed the female victim who was shot in the head was her main antagonist.

Reports indicate she was once suspended for using abusive language on a voicemail to a supervisor.

Reports also say coworkers have complained that the suspect was in need of psychiatric help, but the company said the only way she could be forced to receive help was if she threatened someone.

To add to this, the plant is located at Nabisco Drive. The street is named after it.

I know because I drive right past it twice a day. I live not too far from there. The plant makes the area smell delicious.
