First Open Carry at Work
So last night i finally decided to OC at my business. I have only carried during the last winter months when it was colder and it could be concealed easily with a jacket. I have always thought of my customers first and not wanting to make anyone feel uncomfortable - even though they should be humbled by someone carrying - their feelings come first in my book.
My feelings were changed rather quickly however when a frequent customer did somewhat of a double take on my sidearm. He looked up and said hey, good for you. Noticing what he was talking about i said thanks and asked if he was an owner. Even though he wasn't he showed interest and said it was nice to see that i was standing up to those "fuckers" who try to take advantage of businesses.
After giving him a flier, and a handshake he left with a smile.
I think it was a job well done, and i plan on OC much more often if not at all times.

Re: First Open Carry at Work
Some of us simply can't carry openly at work, or we'd be out of a job pretty quickly. I've often wished I could (especially since I work in downtown Harrisburg) but that'll never happen. I guess that's one of the perks of being your own boss.
