Springfield day at SPAG
Anyone going to Springfield Day at Phila Archery and Gun?
I need to renew my membership and want to take advantage of the discount. I've never been to one of their promo days so I'm not sure what to expect. If it's not crowded I may stick around and shoot some Springfields. I know it can get crowded when they have Glock days, not sure if Springfield draws a lot of people.

Re: Springfield day at SPAG
do you know if they have a guest shooter this year??
A few years ago, they had some dude, who did a little exhibition, and it was some of the most amazing shooting I have ever seen in my life.==============

I don't know if they're planning any demos. I haven't been there in a while and didn't get to ask any of the guys about it.

Re: Springfield day at SPAG
FYI,
I have been to two of these events at SPAG. One Glock and one Springfield. Both were awesome. While there is certainly a great increase in foot traffic, neither event felt like I was just standing around wasting my time. I got to handle all sorts of handguns on both events, shot a couple I was interested in, and even walked away with goodies.
The range is free, but as expected, you have to buy their ammo.
At the Springfield event, there was a demonstration shooter, and he was outstanding. This man could stand with his back to 3 targets, and in way less than 3 seconds, he had turned around, drew and shot all targets with deadly accuracy.
If I'm in the area I will certainly stop by. Specially if they have a shooter.==============

Interesting info. Always something happening at SPAG. I heard a month or two ago Ted Nugent was there filming a show.
I'm gonna go Saturday for the discounted membership renewal. If it's not crowded I'll hang out for a while.

Re: Springfield day at SPAG
You can't beat the event days, discounts on memberships, free range time, free gun rental, plus a chance to win a firearm too I think. I was at the last 2 events and always end up with something.
It does get crowded but they did have like 8-9 staff members helping people out so I never had to wait long. I'll be there at some point to renew my membership.
