Cutting clips on Comptac Minotaur
I have a Comptac Minotaur, and not that I think I've gotten it adjusted how I like it, I want to cut off the excess length of the forward clip and round it off. They are made of plastic, and look like this.
Ideally, want the cut end of the clip to look just like the original end (i.e. smoothly rounded off). I think the safest way to do this would be to cut straight across at the top of the next hole after the one I'm using, and then file off the corners to round it out.
What would be the best tool for doing the cutting without cracking it or otherwise breaking it? Dremel? Wire cutter? Well-placed hatchet strike?Almost a LIB .... ertarian

No problem cutting off the excess plastic. Heres a Youtube video of a guy that cut the clips on his.

A Dremel with a cutoff wheel will work well as will a hacksaw with a finer pitch blade. I'd mark where to cut the clips and remove them from the holster for cutting and shaping. Best to shape with a file and smooth with a fine or medium grit sandpaper.
