Default Re: York Police Department Says Promoting Second Amendment is Promoting Violence

After several years without protection, a York City police officer began attending council meetings last month. Police Chief Wes Kahley said he received several requests for police protection from city officials, but declined to name which ones.
Well isn't that interesting. If a citizen asks for police protection, and doesn't get it, then gets killed, the SCOTUS says, "Well, protecting you isn't their job. Their job is to enforce laws."

But if a councilwoman (who looks like she's a hundred an twelve, by the way...she's gonna keel over any minute now) asks for police protection, it suddenly becomes their job? Now, enforcing the laws on the streets of the city they work for is no longer important?

    WHAT THE FUCK, PEOPLE?

I have some updates. I'll post in the other threads to keep it on topic.

But no, the YCPD cars do not read "to protect and serve".

When campaigning I suggested changing police uniforms (from dark tactical to a lighter color) and adding "Professional Law Enforcement" to the side of the vehicles.

The department needs new leadership. The overwhelming majority of the officers are competent and capable. Its really just the few knuckle heads that are ruining it for everyone. Hey, where have I heard that before?

No doubt she's an entitled, spoiled politico-elitist, but what does her age have to do with anything?
