Default Hunter Safety Course needed in Lancaster

My son, who lives in Maryland with his mother, just turned 12 and would like to hunt with me this year in PA. Because of the late notice and diffulty in scheduling, I am on a last minute mission as I don't want him to miss his first year of hunting. I tried the game commission web site. but there is nothing in the Lancaster or surrounding areas that would work. I am also willing to PAY AN INSTRUCTOR FOR A ONE ON ONE COURSE if needed. Any help would be appreciated. Please email me or call me at 717-278-8381 if you are an instructor or know of a class starting soon.

    Rhess,

Check the local gun clubs or sporting goods shops for info.

In our area, some fire depts have scheduled these classes also.

Maybe check the local papers. The PGC might not be aware if local clubs do these classes.

It's funny that I saw this thread. I was just reviewing the PGC site to see what the requirements are to become a hunter safety instructor.

    Good Luck,
