Shorty Shotguns?

so is anyone into the 26"+ overall short shotguns? or is that something no one really discusses here? Any pics? thinking about doing one

Yeah, Im working on a Mossberg 500 that I scored for $150 last week. It was filthy and sticky (action), but it cleaned up nice so I cut it down to 18.5" and plan on shortening the stock about 2".


Id like to go "Old school" tactical with this one, but I might also SBS it depending.

yea i have a single shot 12 gauge that i got cheap, barrel is 18 3/4" but want to shorten stock and make it maybe 27" overall length and do the black tape job. i didnt know if people were scared or not on this topic

I'll admit to thinking that the shorties are kinda neat but.....what do ya do with one once you have it? The shortest that I have is an old Savage O/U 12 ga. with 20" barrels. I use it as a smoothbore slug gun.

Either one lol I'd like to make one out of an old single shot 12g I found really cheap but don't want a $200 stamp.... For that I'd find a nice pump or double barrel. I was watching the book of Eli movie and was thinking of doing a ghetto style one out of this beat up shotty I found with the electrical tape job and all lol
