Dick's is selling this SG for $179. Suppossedly they are a knockofff of the Remington 870 made in China. The holding company in Harrington and Richardson.

Anyone buy this gun? the few reviews out there are somewhat positive.

One of my friends has one. He uses it when we shoot sporting clays and trap. Works just fine. I'd go buy one right now if she'd let me. In fact I just recommended it another friend for a HD gun.
It's all fun and games, til someone shoots your bobber!

No experience with one, but made in China ... I'd take a pass.

Does it really say "Pardner Protector" ?

It sure does, right on the bottom. A buddy of mine has one and stands by it. He shoots clays and raccoons with it. I've shot it and is was very solid. If I wasn't broke already I'd probably pick one up. It's a nice inexpensive pump.

Dick Sporting in DE was running a sale this past Saturday. they had this NEF shotgun and the Mossberg 500 that i'm intersted in.

It's hard for me to reconcile a chinese 870 knockoff against the Mossberg 500.

Trouble is this "sale" just ended at Dicks and the price jumped up to $350 on the mossberg. I've got to say the guys they got working in the "Lodge" really don't want to be bothered.

I called them earlier today after having someone paged 2x. I aske the guy what Mossberg shotguns they current carry. His response was: "That's like asking a car dealer, what cars you carry?"

? He said this to me 2x. I was just in the store, they don't have that many shotguns, let alone mossberg. So I narrowed it down to 12g. and he came back and told me there's only one in stock, the 500...

ugh. where is the customer service in this country?

Anyway, IDK if i can purchase this knockoff over the mossberg, even if i am saving $150.

+1 Big fan. I have an older one with the metal trigger guard. They're GREAT!

Same here. I won't buy anything Chinese if it's counterpart is made here. There are some deals to be found on real 870's. I bought mine lightly used, the Super Express Magnum for $225 from a member here...and it came with a sling.
    When the SHTF......be the fan.
