Default Traditions hawken rifle good buy?

So I must confess. I bought my first impulse buy gun ever. Usually I take at least a week to research but I just jumped right into this one. I bought a Traditions Hawken BP Rifle in .50. I have 3 BP revolvers so it was only a matter of time before I got a rifle to fit. From what I saw I made a decent purchase at $350. Any input of this rifle as in long lasting, accurate, etc.? Or not accurate and cheap?

The Traditions guns certainly aren't top-of-the-line. I'd say for light use, it should be fine.
If you bought it new, or if it's pre-owned with a bunch of accessories, the price you quoted was about right for what you got.
If you want a more authentic 19th century rifle a better choice might have been the Lyman Great Plains, in either flint or percussion. The Lyman costs more but it's much better-made than the Traditions (or the T/C) Hawken. Just my opinion.
