Good place for carbine training?
Morning PAFOAers,
I just moved here to Pittsburgh from out-of-state. At my prior residence, there was a large outdoor range about 45 miles from where I lived. At this range, my buddies and I were able to rent out a private berm once a month (200 yards by 75 yards) and do our own drills etc.
We used to record ourselves for AAR, and then one of our more "video-techy" associates would edit them into cool videos like this. I'm the guy in the all black shirt looking a little beardy and suspicious. We have more videos but that's not why I'm posting

Having moved to unfamiliar territory, I don't know which ranges are best for me to practice what I normally practice. I have been told by a few locals that there are no ranges that will permit me to do anything like we do on the videos, but I was told the same thing a couple years ago when I started training where I lived.
If anyone may be able to direct me to a good range or training group so that I can start training here as soon as possible, I'd greatly appreciate it.

That video has made its way around... Makes me want a 5DmkII....
Jeff Cooper was a huge supporter of gun games, when he was winning them at least...

Re: Good place for carbine training?
Yeah I saw it on some of the bigger gun blogs recently. I think it's more for the video quality than anything else, but hey everyone's got their own taste in shooting videos I guess.
Thanks for some of the PMs.

Im guessing you are looking for a place to shoot and practice. But there is also a lot of good training available in the area.
