Need help & info please
I havea musket and its a double barrel. It says in small writing montgomery, which may be the type of musket it is?? I have no idea.
It has the initials of my great grandfather on it carved in as well. How much do you think that this is worth? I have a bunch of pictures. Does anyone know any sites or any info at all about this?? I would really appreciate any info and help. I have no idea where to go or look. Thank you so much in advance.

Looks like a double barrel muzzle loading shotgun. Considering the age it looks in good shape. You are lucking to have something like that. Wish I had something from my Great Grandpa.
I always stressed to my son"one shot one kill that was all that is needed". When He came home from Marine Corp Boot camp He was telling me about the Marines stressing "ONE SHOT ONE KILL" He looks at me and the light bulb went on Dad was now a whole lot smarter than he was 13 weeks ago.
