Carry at "school" function
The backstory:
Daughter #2 attends summer camp at a day care center that also has a state registered kindergarten....I know i can't carry in the building....Parking lot is a shared lot with other businesses. My wife is the kindergarten teacher and camp director.
Friday is the end of summer camp picnic that will be held at a township park. Parents are invited. Since this isn't a kindergarten event, there should be no legal issues with carry to the picnic?

You should be ok..
The TWP park would not be off-limit due to preemption and the fact that it's not a school grounds/building.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Re: Carry at "school" function
Yeah but look what happened to Melanie in Lebanon, attending a school game at a public park and she got her LTCF revoked until she won it back in a lawsuit against the city. Just CC and you'll be fine, I wouldn't OC.

Re: Carry at "school" function
Get your facts straight. The soccer league that Meleanie's daughter was involved in was a public league, and not connected to any school in any way. Her revocation was over that fact that the Lebanon county Sheriff disapproved of her decision OC, and nothing more. There was absolutely no hint of a connection between that situation and §912.
