Bucks county- Gunsmith or experienced member- 1911
Hi guys, I'm in Morrisville and I have a SA 1911 Micro Compact GI. I ordered a bunch of new parts for it and would like someone to recommend a gunsmith in the area that is good or maybe a member of this forum who wants to make some extra money. I'm looking to get this installed before friday.
Like I said a good gunsmith in the area or preferably a member of this forum who knows what they are doing. Just PM me the cost if you would like to help. Thanks!
Upgrades that I want installed:
hammer
strut
trigger
grip safety
ambi safety
slide lock

John Robinson has a very good reputation at Classic Pistol.

Call Sean from CDI Custom Knife and Gun. He is a forum member here. His user name is CDI. I have had him do work for me and he is top notch. He has his own shop in Chalfont. Give him a call 215-996-1603
Now less Glock, more H&K :)

The owner at Ready Aim Fire in Bristol is really good. If I remember correctly, he specializes in 1911s and his prices are more than fair.
Here is a link to their page with prices and services for 1911s.

I like that range cause there isn't a lot of rules. They don't care if I practice drawing. I just don't go when during the busy hours. You are very right though. A lot of trenton's lower class goes there. The owner is a nice guy though. They can be expensive but they don't charge me an hourly rate like I hear they do for others.
