    Default Glock 17 & Glock 19 Gen 4

What does your recoil spring say?
    "03 or "02"

I am just wondering for FTF/FTE problems.

Sounds accurate to me... may i ask where you found that out?
My G17 says "02" but my G19 says "03" I was wondering if glock is really gonna come out with the "02" spring for the 19. i've heard only rumors. I'm gonna call tomorrow just to verify.

Sure - I got a Glock 17 when they first came out. The guide rod was not stamped. I never had any failures but was reading of others having issue so in preparation of any future issues I called Glock and they sent out the updated spring which was stamped 02.

Since then I've also purchased the Glock 19 and its stamped 03.

Their are plenty of third party companies out there that offer different options too.

The only Glock spring for the Glock 19 is marked 03 - to my knowledge that's it.

And for the Glock 17 its either not marked (original spring) or marked 02 which was made a bit lighter.

alright, sounds good thanks for your input, i appreciate it.
I called glock and if they do make a lighter recoil spring they will call me. I doubt they will but I'll keep posted.
I havent found any companies out there that make the recoil springs for the newer gen glocks... maybe I am looking in all the wrong places?

thanks. after i posted I went and looked around... they have them for the 17 but not the 19 yet. I suppose the stock spring is around 15 pd so a 13pd would prob work great. (unless you have the updated 13# spring)

Check the homepage under new products, there is one out for the 19.
