This is awesome! It has been raining since 10:30 last night. It has been so horribly dry around here this summer. Although there have been rain showers, it seems like they always have gone to the north or south of the top of the Plateau.

It has been so bad that, when blueberry picking last month, the moss on the surface of the swamps was turning brown and the blueberries were actually drying into raisins on the bushes.

The groundwater monitoring well at Tobyhanna State Park shows that the groundwater has dropped over 6 feet since April.
