Makarov CC help...need holster

Well, I picked up a Bulgarian Mak the other day and fell in love with the thing. So much that I want to carry it. Only problem is, the Indiana Jones holster isnt going to work. What are others using for this size pistol? I have been carrying the LCP, but this war machine is just so much better.

DeSantis Speed Scabbard with or without thrumb break strap. High and tight, with choice of two belt loops in front to make the holster ride vertically, or canted forward. Style 002.

My own is a black RH three-slot Speed Scabbard with thumb break retention strap. The non-strap models have a screw-adjustable rubber friction bushing. I own both styles and the rubber bushing retention system works very well. Most of my CC holsters are DeSantis Style 002, with the exception of a couple of Galcos and an El Paso pancake for my Beretta 92.

i have several, the one i like best is a FIST IWB tuckable in super thin kydex, the other is a OWB from don hume, it's the JIT slide and is a pretty good holster but has no real retention.

Very good answerers so far, I also have a shoulder holster which I like in theory, but find I almost never wear as it is tedious to not be able to take a coat off.

same deal ,I carry my P-64 in a Bianchi Pro IWB. Invisible with just a t-shirt on.

i have one of those for a cz82 and a BHP, they work well for a clip on. i prefer a J hook for the added security, and also look on ebay for falco holsters, just do a search on "makarov falco holster" and you will find several of their designs. all are top notch and really well made and designed!

Can you explain the J hook part please.
