Daniel Boone Rod and Gun Club - Reading
I have not been to this club in sometime. Is the range in good shape?

Re: Daniel Boone Rod and Gun Club - Reading
It's in pretty good shape. Good enough for me, especially for the cost ($15/year). Here is a picture I took a few weeks ago:
This is the rifle/pistol range. This shot was taken from the rifle area where they have a covered building you can shoot under with seats and rests. There is also an area setup for pistols.

Re: Daniel Boone Rod and Gun Club - Reading
Hi all: I'm new to the area (Douglassville) and searching for a place to target shoot nearby. 100 yrds is fine for now, longer ranges would be great. I found the listing for this club but the number the web gives is disconnected. Is there a website for this club?
Is this an open range / open to new members or would I need a sponsor? Hoping to find somewhere to at least zero my rifle tomorrow. Thanks

They usually have applications at the gate in a box. I went and got mine at the club house on a Saturday when they have their organized shoots. It looks like you can also download the application off the internet:

They have meetings on, I believe, the second Monday of each month. Your membership application will have to go through two meetings.
Did you provide a self addressed/stamped envelope that they can send you your membership card in? If not, you can just go to the club and pick it up after two months. If you need any more info, you should be able to call on the weekends and get a more exact timeframe.
