    it looks ridicules and i can't understand why the mag has such a sharp angle on the bottom. the 40 rd mag is definately to long unless you plan on using it as a mono pod if you ever use it while shooting in the prone position. the 30 rd mag looks a lot more practical but they need to redesign the bottom and get rid of the spear tip look.

    Riddle me this, resident firearm enthusiasts: why have I never seen a curved magazine for .308 (or anything bigger than 7.62x39 for that matter)? Will it just not work? Because if anything could benefit from a little curvature, it would be that hideous monstrosity.

    Beats me? I have been wondering the same thing for years? Maybe china and Russia tried to make them straight from the get go and that's the best they could do? For real, I don't know.

    The straight mags are easier to pack into ammo cans
