LTCF and change of address in Allegheny County
All,
I have my LTCF, issued by Allegheny County, and will be moving from an apartment into a house at the end of next month.
Can anyone point me towards any requirements to update my address with the Sheriffs office or similar?
I've looked through the Sheriffs office site, and the PA AG site, but can't find anything definitive.
Thanks.

Re: LTCF and change of address in Allegheny County
There are no requirements that you change your address on your LTCF. When it is time to renew, you will goto the sheriff's office in your county of residence and put in your correct address.
I asked this question to my sheriff and that was the response I got.

Re: LTCF and change of address in Allegheny County
I was told to take the two forms of id, once updated, and they would change the address in the system. They won't renew, reissue, or anything.
You don't even *have* to.

Re: LTCF and change of address in Allegheny County
This was the sheriff's exact response:
Mr. Zef:
There is nothing that needs to be done in regards to the address. That was your current address when the license was issued and the license is valid until it expires or is revoked by the issuing authority. There are no provisions in the statute requiring a change of address.
When your current license expires you will need to make application with our office.
Thank you.

Re: LTCF and change of address in Allegheny County
All,
Thanks for the replies.
The Allegheny County Sheriffs office replied to my original email:
"Hello, do not worry. As long as you are not moving out of state your current
license is good until it expires. Have a nice day."
