    Default My new .30-.30

My buddy was looking for a wheel gun, and he said, wish i knew someone that wanted to trade a wheelgun for a new Rifle. My ears perked up, and I bite.

Traded him a S&W 60-9 for this unfired Winchester Ranger.

    It's not "unfired' anymore

I have owned a lot of bolt action rifles including AR15s, and uzi. But not since my Daisy Red Rider in the late 60's have I owned a lever action.

    I like it a lot !

Lever actions are awsome, they have a quality and "mystique" all to themselves! Enjoy!

Congratulations! Sounds like everyone was happy with that deal and that is always a good thing. Now enjoy that new rifle!

I just picked up a Winchester .30-30 myself. Since they are no longer making the model 1894, they are only going to go up in value. Levers are fun to shoot.

I can't wait to hunt mine next year. Open sights, like the old days.

They are very nice guns. They just look and feel good when you have one in your hands.

Here are the once I got after i heard they were not going to make them anymore.
