    Victim stabbed on Albrightsville street

August 17, 2010 One person was stabbed Sunday as he was walking down a road in Albrightsville.

The victim and another person were walking east on Mountain Road at 1:30 a.m. when a silver Infinity G35X stopped in front of them. Donnovan Channer, 19, of Albrightsville got out of the car with a knife in his hand. A fight took place, and one of the two who were walking was stabbed in the right side of their chest. Chandler fled in his car.

The victim was treated at the scene by West End EMS, which determined that the injuries were not life-threatening.

An arrest warrant was issued for Chandler on multiple charges, including aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats. Chandler was arrested as his home later in the day and taken to Monroe County Correctional Facility in Snydersville.

Wow...I was going to comment on this but I think I will refrain simply because I may one day be faced with a similar situation and don't want what I say to be used against me.

Probably an ongoing dispute between the 2.

Pop a cap in thier ass is right, thats what i would do , perfect case for self defense, only thing is i think the victim is too young to own handguns, i hope he rcovers.

Sounds like an ongoing conflict, no one just doesnt stop their car get out and stab a random person, must be some bad blood from before.

who cares, IML is a shit hole anyway only gang bangers and trash live there :P
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

that's crazy, hope the guy recovers. It could be an ongoing dispute or a random act, gang initiation, who knows for sure.

Excuse my ignorance but what is IML?
