I wound up buying a kel-tec RFB, WOW, I put a Burris XTR on it. Nice trigger not as bad as I had heard. Ergonomics of it are great, a little heavy but easy to handle. Clean groups (2.5") at 100 yds, first time out of the box. Wayyyyyy cool.

The two times that I've been there, it was unheated in the winter, and miserable, and hot as hell in the summer. Hopefully, that changes. On top of that, I got severely hassled by a cop at the front door for my LTCF, something that has never happened at VF.

A quick update for attendees! Entree fee is going down to $8. or $7. with the $1. off coupon from Eagles sight!

    Table costs for dealers,
Eagle is currently planning on $55. per table!

Dealer interest is very high so if attendee interest follows suit then this show should show some serious potential starting with the Nov. show!

I bet we won't have to worry about an off duty LEO shooting the floor like happened at VF!

Eagle has always seemed to be pretty easy about carry at thier shows.

The more a loaded firearm is handled. The better the chance of an ND

It's never happened to me at VF. Fair enough? Otherwise, I'm going to assume that you're the GEICO mascot and were riding around in one of my pockets.

I just got off the phone with Joel from Eagle Arms and he asked me to let everyone know that the carry policy is the result of the convention centers policy!

The convention center made it clear that NO LOADED FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING with the only exception being LEO's!

Thumbs up Re: Oaks, PA gun show

That was my opinion when I went the last time it was there. On the plus side, it wasn't nearly as crowded as the KOP show was. You could walk around and check out things without being rushed or crowded. Just not as much to look at.

Show seems to be getting smaller as time goes by though. Still not sure what to make of it.

If I remember right, it was expensive to get in, like valley forge expensive, but it is like 1/4 the size, if that.
