Ishapore 2A1 cleaning
Yesterday I took the ishy out and put 20 rounds thru her w/no problems. We were also firing an AR15 and a Mosin Nagant at the same time. When I got home and started cleaning, I noticed the cleaning pads were coming out green. The other 2 were a normal color.
I ran the brush thru w/Hoppes #9 first, then started w/a pad soaked in #9 then ran dry pad thru. The first 6-7 pads came out green, then the next few came out good. Once they're clean, I run the mop thru soaked in gun oil.
It's been awhile since I used the gun last, and I always clean them this way usually the same day after a shoot before I put them away.
Any thoughts on why the pads were green? This is the first time I've seen this, as I probably have a couple hundred rounds thru her in the 8-9 months since I got her.

Green or bluish-green? Blue/bluish-green equals copper from the FMJ.

Plus One on what Toxico said.
Are You by chance shooting "Corrosive Ammo" thru it? That's a whole different Cleaning Method.
The 2A1 is a nice a Rifle and accurate.
