I believe if they are going to use general anesthetic they put you in the whole hospital gown clothing and such. Because if you're going under knockout gas, then you'll be spending time in some sort of recovery area, and that stuff does impair your mental state. Impairment while armed in a room with other people being monitored for things like sudden cardiac events and such... NOT a scene I'd like to see played out.

I suspect Michele had an some sort of local anesthetic with the procedure performed as an outpatient at a hospital; maybe the doc's hospital office procedure rooms.

I recently started w/ a new doctor due to insurance changes, and since I had also started OC'ing most of the time, I figured I would OC to the doctors office, and see what happened. Wound up having a nice conversation with the doctor, had no problems (except high cholesterol!!), but also made myself politely clear that if it was a problem with him or his office, I would have to find a new doctor. Have been back a few times with no problems. I just make sure to tell the nurse who take my weight to subtract 2 pounds from the scale reading. LOL

My doc has even been to my place for some range sessions. He is loving the rights and freedoms of the United States!

I don't know what gun you carry, but at the doctor's office, my H&K USPC weighs a little over 20lbs.

Good one, I'll have to weigh my CZ75B, it may weigh closer to 15-20 pounds, I'm not really sure.
