as long as the barrel is 18.5" you should be fine.

You aren't going to leave the full length barrel on it, are you?

18 inches is the minimum, but I shortened mine to 18 1/4, just in case a LEO fudges the location of the breach face while measuring.

I have the pistol grip and tacticool front grip. Way better looking than the fake wood grips.

lol her she is, i just have a pistol grip that a friend gave me and wanted to try the difference see which one felt better, just a PG or PG with stock ... its my primary HD gun

I have a 20+ year old 500a that I have setup with just the pistol grip and short barrel for HD use. No fake wood here tho. It's nice real wood.

No paperwork -- this is a Federal provision. There is an overall length that is also required but a pump-action shotgun with an 18" barrel will meet it (a break action probably wouldn't).

That said, for "feel," you will NOT like shooting it and if you don't need to save the space keep the stock and take some lessons in shooting a shotgun -- any clay sport maybe but a tactical course could be alotta fun. It'll really make you one with the gun, like practice...
