    Default Points of interest

Me and the girlfriend are visiting Tioga county/Wellsboro area next week.
Are there any places you guys recommend to check out? I'm open to suggestions for tourist trap stuff, fun places, good food, gun shops, etc.

In Wellsboro you will need to go out to see the Pa. Grand Canyon. At the canyon you can hike down the Turkey Path which takes you to the bottom also you can take a train ride at which they have a dining car which is located near the Wellsboro Junction. If you mountion bike ride you can ride the path through the bottom of the canyon which takes you along Pine Creek. Gunshops in Wellsboro is pretty much a no go but if you should wander over unto Route 49 there are gunshops in Knoxville (Hunter's Supply)and Westfield (Ackley's) both of which is about a 1/2 hour drive from Wellsboro.

    Thanks for the replies.
Unfortunately we didn't get to do any gun shopping while we were up there, but we did do some some sightseeing (Grand Canyon and other stuff).
Very nice areas in Tioga & Potter, and damn...that was some tasty food we had there too.

Glad you liked it. If you get up here again and if you want contact me and we can probably go to the range here in Elkland. We don't close the range except when they have a archery shoot. We have a 300 yard range and a pistol range. The trap and skeet houses for shotgun are under repair and we're doing upgrades as time and money allows us too.
