Some guy at the range shot a few rounds of the shotgun shells the other day. (against the rules I may add). Basically from 21 feet, he was taking wood off of the target stands.

I have a hard enough time comfortably carrying my Glock 19 concealed. I can't imagine carrying that hand cannon. However as a car or home gun, it may be very effective.

check out this video about 1:35 - 1:40.

The recoil certainly didnt feel too reduced either...

    I bet not.

In one paragraph it says reduced recoil and designed for the judge, then in the next it says 1200ft/s. Now odds are it isnt getting that kind of velocity out of the judge, but it implies that it does.

I gotta wait for my buddy to get hold of me, he has the judge I don't, but we will be checking up on this stuff.

Different strokes for different folks. I carry a 3" chamber, 3" barrel judge loaded with 3 shells that hold 3 projectiles and 12 bbs and 2 .45lc silver tip hollow point. The weight of the judge is approx. 26 oz. Most encounters will be 15 feet or less. If a gunfight occurs at a longer distance, run away and fight another day.

What happens when you are attacked by someone who runs faster than you? Remember, they already have the jump on you?

But I agree 110%, if I can get out, I am as good as never there in the first place.

When firing 2 1/2" #6 shot the recoil is approximately that of a .38 special and when firing a 3" # 6 shot high velocity .410 the recoil approximates a 357 and when shooting a .45LC the recoil is that of a .45LC. I haven't chrono'd any yet but I'm sure it doesn't reach the fps that you get from a shotgun. Carrying concealed it's no different in weight then carrying my Berretta PX4 Storm. For personal defence I wouldn't fire it at any distance further then 15 ft. max. The reason I carry is for encounters that may occur at that distance on the street in the car or at home. How would the average citizen justify shooting at someone 10 to 20 yards away, unless fired on first. Seek cover at that distance and use your cell phone and prayer.

    Thanks for the comparison.

Tueller Drill. 21 feet, aka 7 yards. In the heat of the moment judging distance can be a PITA, so shooting at 10 yards would not be a stretch.
