    Default Windicator info needed

Anyone has one of these? I like to get some info on these guns but I can't find hardly anything online. Hopefully someone here has one of these and can shed some light.

    thanks

Yes I did own one. Good revolver. Shot both .38 and .357. The only problem I had with them was that the .357 cartiridge would sometimes stick inside of the cylinder. That is the only negative thing I can say. I did carry it for self defense and it does have some weight but I liked it. I hope this helps if you have any specific questions please ask.

German made, Imported by EAA, not a huge seller so not alot of info/feedback out there on them.
Seemed like a S&W based gun.
I have shot one, it was Ok, not the greatest gun I ever handled, but not the worst either.
A few years back I ordered in three of them for gun raffle "extra" guns, I received no complaints from the winners.
I remember recently seeing one at a shop somewhere and IIRC, they were asking around $250 for a NIB .357 blued one.

For just a small amount more you can get a Ruger GP100 or Smith and Wesson L or K frame. You always get what you pay for! The Smith and Ruger designs are world class revolvers, the Windicator, not so much.

I have handled one, yet not shot it. The fit and finish is crude as is the action. Unimpressive.

Can be thought of as Taurus or a Rossi with a German accent. As mentioned above, buy an ex-police K frame S&W and that way you will obtain a revolver with workmanship if pre-1990. Dave_n
