NFA Pottstown?

Has anyone bought any NFA items lately using Alfred J. Ricci the acting sheriff in pottstown? If so, how did it go?

Why not just set up a Trust? You bypass fingerprints, CLEO signoff and pictures.

well its gonna cost $500 and I really dont have that kind of extra cash at the moment. I found that the local cheif and sheriff will not sign. Im trying to find out if anyone else will sign, has anyone else had any luck with anyone else?? Im gonna try to get the commissioner of the PASP, has anyone had any luck with that? I also know a judge who deals with felony cases can sign, the state constable can sign, and the DA can sign also. Has anyone else in this county got a CLEO signature?

Everyone that I have talked to, from Montco, about this subject has said the Trust oppition is the really the only way to go. I have heard that the Sheriff won't sign. Was gathering info, at King's in KOP, and one of the first questioned I was asked was" What county do you live in?" When I told them Bucks I got,"OK, no problem" BTW, you have to go to Norristown for the CLEO.(Sheriff)

I just spoke to a friend who has NFA weapons. He said that you must go to the local Police department to start the process. If they refuse to sign then you go to the Sherriff an then the District attorney.

I had a police chief sign ( I live in Montgomery County) so its not impossible to get a signature. I'm not mentioning any names however.

unfortunately my local chief just refuses to sign and so does the sheriff. I also asked the state constable because ATF told me that he could sign, but he told me the DA told him not to sign because it would hold him liable which is not true at all. So now im looking to see if the commissioner of PASP will sign. Has anyone had any luck doing that? What about any judges?

Where I live, we have no local police department. Therefore the State Police is our default police. When I inherited firearms from my father's estate, the head of the local State Police signed no problem. Unfortunately he is long gone now and not sure how receptve the new guy would be. But since I am looking at a silencer soon, might be good time to try. Silencers might be easier than MG's as you can say you are just trying to cut down on hearing damage.

Thought everyone should know the MONTCO Sheriff is now NFA friendly as I just had a Form 4 for a suppressor signed off on. ENJOY!!

whats up devil moon, u would think the sherrif would wanna sign to keep these lil knuckelheads from getting guns illegaly.....im from p town also. where did u go to get your check card..i wanna apply for my carry licsense.thanks for info
