I've been playing with the idea of buying one of their new Judge revolvers but can't help but worry that it's going to have "TAURUS" plastered on it in massive letters. I'm not aware of any other manufacturer that uses such massive gaudy lettering, why Taurus? They need to knock that crap off their guns A.S.A.P.
I am in 100% agreement with this. I really like the Raging Bull, except the huge lettering on the barrel.

I had a run at one at my local gun range and I loved it! Built strong to compensate for the recoil of the .44. My group shots were all in the head of my paper target. After that I really wanted the raging magnum judge for edc,but could'nt find a holster for it.

My best friend bought one in .44 Magnum, with the 8" barrel. I couldn't wait to meet up with him to try it. He even let me be the first to shoot it, so that he'd know what kind of recoil to expect (I'm a lot bigger and sturdier than he is).

It wasn't bad at all! In fact, from a distance of about 12 yards, I sent a massive American Eagle 220-grain hollowpoint straight through the bullseye on the VERY FIRST SHOT! It was probably the best shooting I've done in my life!

As much as I like it, I'm still saving up for a Ruger Redhawk-- I've wanted one since I was a teenager, and I like that classic "Dirty Harry" .44 Magnum aesthetic (and yes, I know Harry Callahan shot an S&W Model 29).

Timely thread. Been thinking of a SS one in 454.
A Republic, if you can keep it.

the 454 would be sweet. only reason i got the 44 is a little more affordable to shoot and the 454 kicks a little bit. but the 44 does the job, im going to mount a scope on it and hunt with it next year in rifle season.
