    Agreed.

I run all forums I chat on on my android without taptalk and they run fine.

    Dan:

Just for the sheer joy of it, I set up a forum for my personal site. Then I installed Tapatalk. All I had to do was the following:

    1 - Register on tapatalk.com
    2 - Verify my account
3 - Click the button for "Activate Tapatalk on your forum"
4 - Choose the forum type
5 - Download the zip file and extract it
6 - follow instructions on where to place extracted file (usually in the "forum" root)
7 - Click the "Activate Tapatalk" tab on the Tapatalk website
    8 - Click "Add Fourm"
9 - Fill in all the information
10 - Back at the account screen click "Verify"
11 - if verifies, click "publish"

This takes literally less than 10 minutes. And as soon as I published my forum, it was searchable from the app.

I encourage you to implement this.

Best of luck on whatever you decide.

I'm not really an Iphone evangelist but i know what you mean

its like the nerd equivalent of 1911 v Glock. Droid might prompt too... i assume it prompts if it detects a mobile device

I have android and have no problem viewing the forum. I put a shortcut on my screen. Tapatalk does make checking new post and threads easier. And I too find the prompt annoying

Default Turn on smartphone support for PAFOA

To the one that has the power to do so:

Would PAFOA turn on support for Tapatalk? This is the most popular app used on the iPhone to view forums. It is free for the forum to turn it on, it is faster then using the browser on the phone and you can login to many different forums all form one app. It is a faster and easier way to stay connected.

    Thanks,
    StovePipe

    Merged.

I know now. Well, looks like members want it and all other forums are in. So, let's not fall behind. Maybe there should be some consideration to move this up the list, but on second thought I am not privy to what else is on this list. All I can tell you is that it would benifit members on a communication stand point.
