Any news on installing Tapatalk?

I installed Tapatalk for my cybernations forum last year and it's excellent. Very easy to use. I'd love to see PAFOA install Tapatalk. Hell, I'll even donate money if that'll help sway your decision.

I don't get this resistance to Tapatalk. It took a while for the appropriate people to even pay attention to this thread again, they dished out some bullshit, and now it's falling on deaf ears again. The "not have the time" excuse no longer applies when multiple people have offered their help. That's how communities work! Helping each other.

Dan doesn't have time, because he chooses not to make the time. In my opinion, this is a low-priority hobby he spends time on when there is absolutely nothing else he'd rather be doing. This is based on statements he's made in the past.

The appropriate expectation to have is no expectation. That's the only way your expectations will align with reality, and the only way you won't be disappointed. If tapatalk is that important to you, PAFOA is not the right place for you, because in my opinion it is neither important to Dan, nor is what we want.

Them's the breaks.

FWIW, I don't appreciate argumentative tone. And quite frankly, you don't have to get it. Go back a few pages and you'll find that there's more than just a time issue in play here. This site might be a community forum, but its a community forum which is property. There's no excuses being made; a decision was made by the site owner, and he decided he doesn't want to do this for the foreseeable future. To my knowledge, his position on this issue hasn't changed.

This suggestion has been duly noted numerous times, and since there's no change in Dan's position on the issue, I'm closing this thread. If there does come a time where a different decision is made, I'll reopen this thread to provide an update.
