I'm going to fix your link for those that come after to add input.

I didn't know these existed personally. But now that I do, you have my undivided f'n attention!

My first thoughts are that I always want a chromoly barrel. And none of these are chrome lined. Which means I would probably take a stainless one and have it duracoated black or something. Otherwise you are going to have issues with corrosive ammo unless you are a neat freak.

There almost has to be a catch too though because these are super cheap! I might buy one just to set aside for a build somewhere down the line since I have an extra upper receiver laying around.

Don't know how excited I am about corrosive ammo in a D/I gun, though the M&P's seem to be doing well in spite of that fact.

Looking at threads on some of the other sites and talking to friends at work who shoot this (Corrosive ammo),it seems like its not that big a deal as long as you clean your guns after shooting.I am just wandering about barrel quality, the 1-9 twist rate versus the 1-8 in the M&P15R(I am told that that's the twist rate in AK-74 variants the 1-8 that is).I am also wanting to build an upper for 5.45x39,just hate to build one that won't shoot well. Got a reply back to an e-mail to alpha sports. It says: They are manufactured here in CA. Citadel makes barrels for companies like Century, Numerich etc. They are production grade.
