Default What's a Regina pocket pistol and where do I buy 7.65 ammo?

So a local shop has a 1918 Spanish Regina pocket pistol in 7.65. A quick google search yeilded nothing at all. It was listed for $75 but I could get it for $50 I'm betting.

Does anyone have one here or know anything about them?

I was going to buy that. Buy it before I do.

If it was the same one(I'm sure it was) it was in good shape. "Regina" was one of the many, many Spanish(Basque country) gun makers in the 1910s-1940s. I'm thinking that piece was made in the '20s.

Those factories produced a bunch of different pistols in .25 and .32. Most were Ruby pistols, some were Browning and Colt pocket pistol clones. That one was the smaller Ruby pistol. Solid guns.

I was about to buy that pistol but didn't feel like waiting around so long.

    So it will shoot .32acp?

If the blueing was better I would have taken it in a second. They actually had it tagged as a miscellaneous make and the model as a Regina. I'll try calling tomorrow and if they'll take $50 I'll make the drive out. I'm just trying to resist starting to collect pocket pistols but a pocket piece that's as old as my grandfather and survived through both world wars? I might have to swing by and get it IF it takes .32 acp rounds.

Yes, 7.65 is .32acp. $75 for that pistol is more than fair. It is a nice collector's piece and shoot be decent shooter.

Well I might have to swing by and pick it up now, especially if it is a ww Bring back. Great. Apparently they have an amazing history. Ill still try and talk them down a hair. Im sure they hate seeing it sharing a shelf with Glocks and Sigs.
