Default Glock 19 4th Gen Recoil Prob. Cust. Service A+!

I don't really know what section to put this in so I put it here. Sorry if it inconveniences some of you.

Basically what happened is I had a 3rd gen Glock 19 and reloaded for it. I used at light load around 3.4gns of Accurate #2 powder w/ 115 gn bullet. (very light recoil, very accurate) I sold my Gen 3 and bought a gen 4... Ran some of the reloads through it and it didn't feed or eject. I upped the load to 4.0 and had the same problem, upped it to 4.5 and had the same problem... I was like what the hell?? I upped it to Max load at 5.0gns of Accurate and it finally ejected and feed perfectly.

I called Glock and told them my story and they said they are known to do this with "Target Loads." What I needed to do is buy duty ammo because thats what a GLOCK is, a duty weapon. The customer rep was nice, informative and down to earth. He told me he would send me a lighter recoil spring for target loads but suggests I shoot duty ammo out of it for 100% reliablity.
I love my glock even though I had problems with it. And just figured I'd let fellow gun owners know my experience since I heard others had this problem with lighter loads in there 4th gen glocks.

There is nothing wrong with your Glock, it was not meant to shoot shit ammo, its a service weapon meant for serious business, if you want to shoot shit ammo buy a shit gun and stop wasting Glock customer service time with bullshit questions, while people with real problems have to wait on line to get thier real problems resolve.
Glocks are NOT target guns. period.

Please Note: The poster was issued a warning for this post.

Okay there Nyman, whats the glock 34 and the 35? they are competition guns! Glocks are not JUST duty weapons. My reloads aren't shit ammo either. Don't waste my time with your bullshit answers.

Why would glock also produce a lighter recoil spring for the issue?

The whole point of this post is that Glock's customer service is A+. There is no need to be rude.

I run a 13lb spring in my G35 with good results with minor loads.

It most certainly IS a target gun....lightened/slide cut and all.

That being said, despite mrnyman's rather rude post (I wasn't aware that Glock customer service is backed up with people on hold these days) we do have a rule against personal attacks around here. You're new and I can see where your agitation came from so let's just call it a warning.

....and mrnyman, anytime you want to shoot targets on the clock for beer.....come on over to the west side,

I know... Nyman didn't have to criticize my reloads, and my questions/issue with Glock customer service. Esp. when the 9mm 4th gens are known for this issue because of the dual spring recoil spring being too stiff for 9mm while being just perfect for .40 and 45cal.

Well, almost all the members I have talked to and even met in person from here are great guys. I've come here to give my insight (I dont' have much) and acquire information. I didn't come here to be criticized and don't intend to be. I shouldn't have said what I said but sometimes I'm an idiot.
But anyway, may I ask what load you use for your glock 35? And was wondering if theres a difference in the frame between the G35 and the G17?
