Any new place is good news
Wish I saw this earlier and I would have stopped by. I posted a thread in the past about a gun store on this same street that closed after the owner passed away.

Within a couple miles radius of Prospect Park three gun stores have closed that I remember. Any new place is welcome to me and I hope they do well.Tim

Re: Delco shooting supply - need a review
Thanks for the report. Only CCI and Winchester primers? No Federal? I was hoping to pick up another sleeve of small pistol.
I'll have to get in there soon. A new gun shop in the area should be encouraged to stay around.

Great I am going to swing by one day. I live right around the block. Save's me a trip to targetmaster.

Re: Delco shooting supply - need a review
Stopped in after work on Friday. Best parking is on 11th avenue by the Post Office and then walk across 420 at the light.
It's a nice little shop with potential. They are a bit light on inventory right now. A dozen handguns in the case. Mostly CC types, but there were a couple full size autos. I glanced over them, but didn't pay a lot of attention. A fair selection of commercial cast bullets and a smaller collection of plated offerings. Primers were CCI and Winchester as reported by andrewjs18. They had a few pounds of Alliant powder on display as well.
I talked with the owner and his son for a half an hour or so. He wants to expand and was very interested in what I load and the components I use. He seemed particularly interested in different powders. He stated that he wanted Federal primers same as everyone else, but he couldn't find any. Also said that he was mostly a handgun guy, but he would be adding some rifles to the inventory.
I bought 1000 CCI small pistol and wished him well. I'll be stopping back now and again to keep an eye on the place. Hopefully he'll make a good run of it and become a great local resource.

Oh, and I found a one ounce wheel weight on 11th while walking back to my car. Almost 3 good .38 bullets in that.
