Flashiders/brakes with QD suppressor threads an NFA item?
I was reading a thread that stated that the ATF wants to limit the number of QD suppresors mounts to one QD mount per suppressor. Can anyone confirm this as fact or fiction?

I am finishing up an SBR build and would like to start another 18" mid build, but would like to use 1 suppressor between the 2.

I don't see why they would do that, there is no law against moving a suppressor from one firearm to another. But its the ATF we are talking about, so who knows.

Re: Flashiders/brakes with QD suppressor threads an NFA item?
About a year ago there was an issue with rear mounts, something to do with the YHM style mount. Most of the supressor companies held up sales of mounts until the ATF gave the ok.
Currently it's not an issue, but that could change. I would buy all of the mounts when you buy a can so you have them.Last edited by Kramer; July 26th, 2010 at 08:18 PM.

Re: Flashiders/brakes with QD suppressor threads an NFA item?
I contacted AAC about it since it was their QD suppressor mounts I was interested in. Here is the response:
Hello,
You can purchase as many QD mounts as you would like with our silencers.
I have no clue why someone would say else wise.
Thanks for the email and trying to get to the truth and not believing everything you read online.
