No semi-auto
Is the no hunting with semi auto law across the board in PA or are there certain types of animals you can hunt with them?

semi shotguns with bird shot is legal for small game , turkey ,waterfowl and that sort of stuff

Just make sure you observe the magazine limit and have the gun plugged to accept the correct number of shell.
1 in the chamber and 2 in magazine IIRC.

if thats what your getting at, since you were looking for a 10/22,fro squirels i got a savage bolt action w/ the synth stock at wally's for, iirc, $115 OTD. add a cheap ($20) barksa (sp?) scope from gander, got my whole hunting rig for less than $150 WITH a sling and an extra mag.

Auto-loading shotguns are legal for deer in the special regs. areas of the state.
