NHRPC PRACTICAL RIFLE - NJSP CQB/M4 Q-COURSE - SBR's Welcome!

Welcome to the "Stamp collector's Ball"

8/21/10

Have an SBR and wonder how that shorty was intended to be run?

Come on out and give the NJSP Entry/CQB Q-Course a try. I modified it a little bit to include 4 pistol transitions and change the full-auto portions to semi. Some guys have shot this before and will tell you it is challenging.

The course is 3 to 50 yards, and is shot individually using a timer. Hits are 0 points, and misses are 2, which get added to your time to comprise the final score. The course includes four pistol transitions, cover/barricade shooting, support side shooting, and standing, kneeling and prone shots. You can shoot the match with any semi-auto, but we are having a prize category for SBR's specifically.

Prizes are going to be authentic NJSP challenge coins. 1st, 2nd and 3rd for SBR's and 1st, 2nd, 3rd for carbines (any sights). To qualify as an SBR it must have a tax stamp or be an LE duty gun with a barrel >16". You are required to have the form 1/4 or LE ID with you.

Bring 70 rounds of rifle ammo and 10 rounds of pistol ammo. The match will be conducted at the NHRPC upper range. Other ranges will be open for membership use.

Maybe you will qualify. ......Or perhaps we add some additional authenticity and you will have to re-shoot while "gentle words of encouragement" are offered from the gallery. hahaha

We may also have a 30-40 round side precision practice match fired from 100 to 600Y, all from the main firing line (no range closure).

Registration will be added to this thread soon, and will be time slot based. 0800, 1100, and 1300. 40 shooters max. If we have less than 30 we will permit some second runs (only the first one counts for score). Match fee is $20 for members, $25 for guests.

If people are interested in a side precision match, we will come up with some stages.
