Seems like a good policy to me. Not only does it save security guards time, it's a background check as well!

Seems like a retarded policy to me. They force people to wait in line to go through metal detectors even though your allowed to carry in the capitol. A good policy would be to get rid of the metal detectors and not make anyone wait in line.

Well, it will potentially keep out a prohibited person who is also carrying or someone carrying illegally. Though I agree they should just take out the metal detectors. Let's call it a small step in the right direction.
