Default Help Save The Dansbury Depot

Sadly, the borough of East Stroudsburg quickly and quietly issued a demolition permit for the town's historic train station, The Dansbury Depot. (story from WNEP) http://www.wnep.com/wnep-mon-dansbur...,4322086.story Many community members feel the loss of this site will be a blow to the identity of East Stroudsburg the borough will not be able to recover from.

Please help by signing the petition:
    http://savedansburydepot.org/petitions.html

Many organizations are coming together to help protect this historic landmark of The Poconos include, but not limited to The Delaware Water Gap Station Restoration and The East Stroudsburg Railroad Tower Restoration.

I hope you will join in the effort of preserving the history of The Poconos!

    Thank you,
    Chris

Its also a burnt down wreck which needs to be completely leveled and rebuilt... let the developer have it, he has commited to reusing as much as he can and there is no way that a group will raise enough to fix it, and noone cares. let it go
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

The building is quite saveable and in my opinion it should be but as always, money talks!

Mr. Andrews had intent on reopening the station but was offered enough $$ to sell and walk away. Mr. Nauman will do his usual and demolish history to make way for some god awfull looking office building with apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floor!

The Borough couldn't care less! all they want is the tax $$!!
