Whats in your nightstand?

In the nightstand: Ruger P89, spare mag, whip, chain, whistle, handcuffs & lube (not for the gun).
Beside the nightstand: AK74

HK USP .45 loaded 12+1 with Ranger-T 230gr +P with a StreamLight TLR-2 light/laser, cocked/locked. The HK is my Primary HD gun. Also my winter carry Glock 30, 10+1 with Cor-Bon DPX 185gr +P in the holster and two spare 10 round mags, one of Ranger-T and the other cheap Winchester SXZ. That's ALL I have in the night stand. The Glock isn't ment to be used for HD, it just happens to be stored there. It's there and ready if it must be used though.

I also have a Mossberg 500 loaded with 00 buck, empty chamber, safety off leaned against the computer desk. Not my primary HD, but I'll grab it if I really feel it's nessacery.

The AR sits in the case unloaded across the room.

There is a Glock 19 in the kitchen.

Only once have I grabbed my HK in the morning waking up to my backdoor hanging wide open. First idication everything was ok was my overly alert dog was just chillin at the foot of the stairs Somebody forget to latch the door I guess.

Anyway, that's a bit more info than "what's in my nightstand". I'm bored.

In my night stand? A few magazines and a couple books.

On top of my night stand? SW99 in .40 cal, a small fluorescent lamp, and a pair of Sennheiser HD-555 headphones hooked into an IBM Thinkpad T23 laptop, for watching a movie or listening to some music before falling asleep.

Next to the night stand, is my Springfield Armory M1A, stoked with Hornady 155gr TAP rounds.

A PM9 With Winchester Ranger Hollows, a Saiga 12 with #4 buck and a WWII era samurai sword. Sometimes the russian is in the bed tho (I had an attempted break in where I awoke to see a hand coming in my bedroom window once before).

Told by the Doc to stay inside. (breathing problems also LOL) So right this min on my night stand is:
Two inhalers.
Alarm clock.
Reading glasses.
Two pairs of scissors 8in blades (working of a couple of sewing projects)
Pocket knife (husband dropped it and I picked it up)
S&W fully loaded
Dog treats
Two books & Rosary
Latest CC Magazine
Lamp
Change

No drawers so everything is in view if you look under some of the stuff.

My 1911 is always with me.... She sleeps next to me on the stand with two spare mags to keep her warm, a flashlight & cell phone keep her company .... as well as a Cold steel Walking stick by the bed & AK under it .....

Beside the bed, but not in a night stand;

a Llama .45 acp and extra mag (7 rounds each)
a Ruger P89 9mm and extra mag (15 rounds each)
a Winchester 1200 with 18" barrel, tube mag extender, pistol grips front and rear.

on my computer desk in the same room;

a North American Arms 22 cal revolver with belt buckle..

Also various knives and swords.

Now that's just our bedroom..

Now this theme is repeated throughout the house..

With 4 of us with a LTCF in the house there tends to be a weapon in almost every room..

And if all else fails we retreat to the gun room!
