Chambersburg Pistol and Rifle Club
Gnbrotz took me over to the club yesterday morning. I was very impressed with the facilities they have there. I am really considering joining, even though they require members to belong to NRA. The pistol lanes were beautiful as well as the rifle range. Thanks, Gnbrotz.

Re: Chambersburg Pistol and Rifle Club
Glad you were pleased with what you saw. I'd describe as having 'minimal' facilities. It doesn't have a finished "clubhouse" or serve food, etc. like some sportsman's clubs, but if all you need is a decent place to shoot, then it should serve your needs.
We weren't able to shoot yesterday, because there was a regional NRA match, but when there are no events going on, I hardly ever see another person when I'm there. If anyone else is interested in seeing the grounds in person, I'd be happy to show you around.Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today! PM for more info.

At the center of this Google map.
Just south of Chambersburg, along Cider Press Rd (just N of Garber Rd). The large gravel area in the center is the main pistol range. There are now three additional pistol bays to the south of that (the image only shows two). North of the pistol range (grassy area) are the rifle ranges.Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today! I was a member years back before a lot of the improvements were made, and it was a great place to shoot even back then...very handy location.

Re: Chambersburg Pistol and Rifle Club
I forgot to mention....
There is no requirement to come to work days, or help with anything that needs done around the range, BUT, if you do, there is a log book to record your time, and the last I checked, if you provided 10 or more hours of work in a year, the next year's dues are waved. The dues were recently increased, so I'm not sure if the hour requirement to cover dues was raised as well, but it's certainly a nice option to have, especially during these tight economic times.Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today!
