Default Wilderness Belt..3 stitch or 5?

Hi, who has a wilderness belt and did you go with the 3 stitch or 5 stitch and why. Seems like the 5 is sturdier but an extra 5 bucks, is it necessary??

Well worth the $5. I use a 5 stitch or a CSM daily. I actually prefer the CSM for OWB because it doesn't have to be cinched as tight but it's rigid enough for support. I like the 5 stitch better for IWB carry because it's more flexible. The 3 stitch is ok with smaller, lighter guns but doesn't have the same rigidity. For $5, the 5 stitch is a much better belt.

What KPW said.................5-stitch provides great support. The insert model is TOO stiff and cuts into my side as I bend..................

Now - the W-belts are great for OWB carry - not a smuch so for IWB - they don't qite give enough and then leather works better................

5-stitch. have had my wilderness for about 2 years now and wear it daily. it still is as stiff as when I bought it!

No issues cutting into my sides for me. My 5 stitch belts are more flexible than my leather gun belts. I think they are more comfortable than my leather for IWB. Unless you mean single thickness leather belts. I don't own or use those.

I am more than happy with my Wilderness for IWB.
Jeff Cooper was a huge supporter of gun games, when he was winning them at least...
