STI duty one
So I have been wanting to pickup a new 1911 full sized with an accessory rail, and the funds are getting where they need to be to allow it. I'd settled on a Springfield operator for a while but recently discovered the STI duty one. I like the idea of a bull barrel but have no experience with them so ultimately don't know if there are benefits or not to it.
Basically on paper the duty one sounds like its got the features I want, and no extras that I don't. I'd like to hear from STI 1911 owners especially those with duty one's on what they think of the pistol. If you have both an operator and a duty one or other STI 1911 which would you choose if you could only have one and why?
Help me get off this fence.
