    Default S&W 12-2

Just bought a Smith and Wesson 12-2 M&P Airweight 38spl in Nickel finish - NRA Very Good. I thought the price was good and didn't want to wait but was looking for S&W buffs to tell me if my $ 299 was good or just ok ?
Seems to only have a little flecking of the nickel, no real damage, wood is original and real nice with both gold medalions in great shape, bore shiny and no damage. Just curious - thanks !

You got a good deal. I paid about 400.00 for one 2 years ago.

They are nice carry guns, mine shoots well also.

The grips are for a Ka frame and regular K frame grips will leave a gap on each side of about .040. Tyler T-grips work well in mine.

Sounds like you did well, congratulations on your new gun.

Thanks for the info on the grips. The wood ones on it seem near perfect so for now I want to keep this little snubbie old school original
