Smile AMT 380 Backup Single Action

Hi, new to this forum. I found some discussion on this site concerning the
amt 380 backup sa and would agree with the majority of those commenting
positive on this pistol. I have two of them and found that I like the size and
solid weight of the gun. Its about as stout as they come and
I've been able to find three to four each of the 48 or 49 parts that make up
this pistol. I had no trouble finding parts for this. I also
found this gun to be very reliable and that it is intended to shoot factory loads
of the 380 hardball. I carry this with me but it is a gun that a lady must be
shown the proper way to pull the slide back as the slide spring takes a strong
arm to pull, if shown correctly anyone can do this. This forum seems to
have the best discussion of all I've read for the AMT pistols. I hope to see
more information on the amt pistols on this forum.

I can tell you they are sensitive to limpwristing. The fiancee's 10yo son was having FTF's when he shot my AMT 380 Backup II single action. I could tell he was limping it. When I fired it with the same ammo and mag it didn't have the problem.

Hi, your right about that. I was told by the original about the limpwrist reaction.
    Thanks for the input. Gary
